Christchurch's wealthy Gough family paid out $78 million from the sale of the business


Christchurch property investor Ben Gough and his sister Gina Satterthwaite own just over half of Gough Holdings, recently renamed Amyes Road Limited. Christchurch’s wealthy Gough family has received $78 million so far from the sale of the family’s heavy machinery business. Its name had been changed to Amyes Road Limited. The company had $80.58m “net funds on hand following the sale of the business”, the second six-monthly liquidators’ report said. “At this stage we are unable to determine when the liquidation will be able to be completed,” the second six-monthly liquidators’ report said.
