Christchurch mosque attacks: Thousands attend Hagley Park service to remember victims

ALDEN WILLIAMS/STUFF Thousands gathered in Christchurch's Hagley Park on Friday afternoon to honour those killed one week ago in NZ's worst terrorist attack. DOMINIC HARRIS/STUFF Natalie Buchanan, Kat Guzel and Bridget Compton-Moen wore head scarves in solidarity with the Muslim community. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, community leaders, and about 30 foreign dignitaries were invited by the Muslim community to the event. The pair said they decided to go for "solidarity" with the Muslim community and to remember those who died.
