Christchurch company secures ILT hotel tender

A Christchurch company has been awarded the tender to build the Invercargill Licensing Trust's new $40 million Langlands hotel. The trust's restaurant, bar and hotel complex on the corner of Dee and Don streets is expected to open in October 2021. ILT chief executive Chris Ramsay says Leighs were picked for the project after a "meticulous procurement process". They are ready to mobilise immediately and kick start construction which is fantastic from our perspective," Ramsay says.
