Christchurch-born Lucy Botting and her band GirlbossGIRLBOSS Wellington-based band Girlboss is led by Christchurch-born Lucy Botting. Lucy Botting, 26, is the singer behind Girlboss, a pop band making waves in Wellington and abroad. GIRLBOSS Body Con, the band's debut album, is being released online and on a limited run on cassettes. Before Girlboss, Botting said she was often too shy to share her songs. Catch Girlboss live at Space Academy from 8.30pm on April 16, joined by Christchurch bands Wurld Series and pickle darling.
