Christchurch Holi-Festival of Colours draws over 10,000 peopleSTACY SQUIRES/STUFF The Christchurch Holi-Festival of Colours attracted thousands into the central city todayA colourful Indian festival being held in Christchurch had an Irish twist this year to acknowledge St Patrick's Day. The fifth Christchurch Holi - Festival of Colours drew over 10,000 people to Hagley Park where they coated each other with coloured powder to form new friendships and "become one". STACY SQUIRES/STUFF Over 10,000 people came to the Christchurch Holi-Festival of Colours in North Hagley Park. The annual event is put on by Revel Events with support from the Christchurch City Council and the Christchurch Multicultural Council. STACY SQUIRES/STUFF The free event was for all ages.
