Christchurch Boys High School won the Maadi Cup on Saturday, beating out Christ College to snatch the gold medal at Lake Karapiro. In the boys under 18 coxed eight Christchurch Boys High beat their near neighbours by just over a second, while Auckland Grammar crossed the line almost eight seconds later to claim the bronze medal. This was the first time Christchurch Boys High had won the Maadi Cup. PHOTOSPORT As always, the crowds were huge at the Maadi Cup at Lake Karapiro.
