Chux OhaiThe Chrisland Pre-degree College, Lagos, held its first-ever University Fair on its premises on Thursday. Representatives of more than 20 universities from the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Ukraine, Hungary and the United States of America, including one from Nigeria, the Chrisland University, attended the fair, which lasted between 11am and 3pm. The Coordinator, Chrisland Pre-degree College and Organiser of the fair, Mrs. Atinuke Agomo, in an interview with our correspondent, noted that the fair had a unique quality lacking in most other similar events organised in the country. She said, “Most of the university fairs I have attended in Nigeria featured only exhibitions from institutions in one foreign country at a time. If it wasn’t a fair for only universities in the United Kingdom, for example, it would be a fair for universities in Canada.
