With Shannan’s dead body in his truck, Watts drove his two daughters to an oil-and-gas field in Weld County, about 45 minutes away, Lambert said. Watts dumped the girls’ bodies in an oil tank and buried his wife in a shallow grave. Watts was sentenced in November for killing his wife Shannan and their two daughters, Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3, on August 13. Shannan's family has not listened to Watts' supposed confession but was reportedly briefed on what was said.
