Furthermore, Opposition Leader Andrew Scheer wanted Goodale to unilaterally have McClintic transferred, and that would have been just terribly wrong. This wasn’t just about punishing or exacting retribution from McClintic, not that there’s anything wrong with punishing child murderers.
