Comedy fans had to suspect this news was coming, but they were probably grateful all the same: Chris Rock is coming to Toronto, and will perform at the Air Canada Centre on Nov. 11. After a long break from standup (and a divorce), Rock has been touring in recent months, having played Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls in February. The 52-year-old comedian and Saturday Night Live alumnus’ subsequent show in New Orleans got a surprise guest: Dave Chappelle. While out of the limelight, he was nominated for an Emmy (he’s already won four) for directing another comedian’s special: Amy Schumer Live at the Apollo. Tickets for the Toronto show go on sale Saturday, May 6 at 10 a.m. through Livenation.com, Ticketmaster.ca and the Air Canada Centre box office; prices will range from $50 to $150, before various fees.
