Chris O'Dowd stars in the upcoming SundanceTV short-form series State of the Union, about a couple who meets at a pub before their weekly couples therapy session. State of the Union, which shot in West London, co-stars Rosamund Pike as Tom's (O'Dowd) wife Louise. "My mother is a therapist, so I feel like I’ve always been around therapy without being in therapy," he said after the panel. O'Dowd captivated U.K. audiences when he portrayed computer nerd Roy Trenneman in Channel 4's The IT Crowd in 2006. The show has found new fans across the pond since the comedy series began streaming on Netflix.
