The Auckland border has a freedom date but, there's still no saying when the region will leave lockdown. From December 15, people will be able to leave or enter the region, if they're fully-vaccinated or have a negative Covid test within 72 hours before travel. The rest of the country will join Auckland in moving to the traffic-light system soon after November 29, subject to Cabinet.
