BANGKOK: Malaysia have confirmed their place in the quarter-finals of the Thomas Cup after cruising past Algeria 5-0 in their second Group D tie here on Tuesday. Malaysia will face defending champions Denmark on Wednesday to decide who tops the group. In the first singles match, national No 2 Lee Zii Jia saw off Youcef Sabri Medel 21-6, 21-13, before Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin thumped Mohamed Abderrahime Belarbi 21-7, 21-9 to give Malaysia a 2-0 lead.
