RAWANG: The Government wants to hear public feedback on matters the government should place importance on as it moves towards achieving the 2050 National Transformation (TN50) initiative, said MCA Youth chief Datuk Chong Sin Woon (pic). Chong added that it is important for Malaysians to contribute their views as Wawasan 2020 was drafted by public servants without consultation with the public. He suggested that more foreign telecommunication companies be allowed to enter the competition to enable Malaysians enjoy cheaper prices, faster and better internet speeds. "There are too few Malaysian telecommunication companies, thus creating a monopoly. "I agree that to develop the potential of our young people, we must first solve the network problem," he said.
