Cholsey and Wallingford Railway, a heritage line which hosts tourist train rides, is preparing for its popular Santa Express experience. Michael Palfrey, railway chair, said: “Our volunteers have been working hard through the year on numerous projects including a complete renovation of one of our heritage coaches, which means we can provide more tickets than previous years.”READ MORE: Inside the Narnia themed treehouse with magic wardrobe doorThe volunteer-run organisation will be running the festive train from November 23 – December 23 this year and is expecting about 4,000 visitors over the busy period.
