Former Kiambu governor William Kabogo has weighed in on Tuesday's deputy presidential debate saying it'll play a key role in determining the outcome of the August polls. In a video posted on his Twitter handle, Kabogo said the four running mates would determine how the presidential candidates will fare at the polls. After the debate, I said, and mark my words, I said the choice of the deputy will determine the fifth," Kabogo said. Opinion remained divided, as expected, with some saying Azimio deputy presidential candidate Martha Karua outwitted UDA's Rigathi Gachagua while others held dissenting opinions to that view. The deputy presidential debate focused mainly on integrity issues with corruption at the centre stage.
