Meanwhile, Chittagong Union of Journalists (CUJ) demanded immediate rescue of the journalist after holding a rally before Chittagong Press Club on Saturday. They also threatened to go for tougher programs if the missing journalist is not rescued quickly. Chittagong Metropolitan Union of Journalists (CMUJ) also expressed grave concern over the disappearance of the journalist. By issuing a media release, the organization urged the law enforcement agencies to take effective steps to rescue the missing journalist.
