Chinese students lose thousands as NZQA shuts down business college123rf NZQA said it found "serious problems" at the NZ National College, a business school in central Auckland. Students at an Auckland business school have lost thousands of dollars after the school was shut down by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA). NZ National College, on Queen St, was deregistered last month after trying to stop NZQA's decision by seeking a judicial review through the High Court. At the time the closure was announced, a group of around 40 students were close to graduating. The students have planned a protest outside the Immigration NZ office on Queen St at 2pm on Friday.
