Share:China's space station's robotic arm successfully grabbed and moved a cargo spacecraft on Thursday, the first time that such move was conducted at the space station. The Tianzhou-2 cargo ship was captured by the robotic arm early Thursday, and the entire process lasted 47 minutes. Tianzhou-2 was launched on May 29 this year, to transport supplies and materials for the construction of China's space station. China will complete the building of its space station in 2022, according to the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It plans to launch two cargo craft, two Shenzhou spaceships and two laboratory modules of China's planned space station within the year.
