China on Monday said they are willing to work together with Bangladesh to deepen the cooperation between the two countries and push the “strategic partnership” to new heights. “I attach high importance to the development of China-Bangladesh relations,” Chinese President Xi Jinping said in a message to Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid, marking the Independence Day of the latter country. Xi Jinping also conveyed his best wishes to the president and people of Bangladesh on the 48th anniversary of its independence on behalf of China. Meanwhile, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, in a message to Bangladesh Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali, said China attaches great importance to its bilateral relationship with Bangladesh. “I am willing to work together with you to make constant efforts on the development of the strategic partnership of cooperation between China and Bangladesh,” Wang Yi said.
