ALOR SETAR: China wants to work with Kedah in the industrial fishe­ries, solar energy, rubber and tourism sectors. China’s Ambassador to Malaysia Dr Huang Huikang said the nation is eager to be involved in the Kedah Integrated Fisheries Terminal (KIFT) by using Chinese fisheries expertise. He added that Kedah was poised to feature prominently in the bilate­ral relationship between Malaysia and China, particularly in economic collaboration. Dr Huang paid a courtesy call on Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah in Wisma Darul Aman yesterday. KIFT is a joint-venture between the Kedah government and Lu Hai Feng, a company from Qingdao, China.
