CAIRO – 8 February 2021: China will be implementing a number of towers in New City of El-Alamein in Egypt. On Monday, Minister of Housing Assem el-Jazzar witnessed the signing of cooperation protocol between Egypt and a Chinese company to build a number of towers in Downtown area of New City of El-Alamein. The new towers in the New City of El-Alamein will be established per a Chinese loan. In March 2020, it topped roof on first tower in the 20-tower central business district project in Egypt’s new capital. CSCEC has agreed a $2.2bn loan to finance its work on the central business district in Egypt's New Administrative Capital.
