China is pushing hard to expand its footprints across the West Asia North Africa region riding on the atmosphere created by the Saudi-Iran deal that was brokered by it. There has been a flurry of visits from China across the region since the deal was concluded. China Harbour Engineering Company or CHEC has reportedly awarded a deal in March worth 2.1 bn USD to develop infrastructure projects. China (China National Aero-Technology Import & Export Corporation) is also in talks with the UAE to sell unmanned helicopter widely used by the Chinese police. After Qatar the delegation led by Zhu also visited Iraq to promote ties with the Iraqi Parliament.
