Photo: APNew Delhi: Agreement on India’s membership of the elite Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) can demonstrate the ability of India and China to deal with such issues strategic maturity, a senior Indian official said on Thursday. The comments come two days after India and China held talks in New Delhi to iron out differences over Chinese opposition to India’s membership of the NSG. On Thursday, Indian foreign ministry spokesman Vikas Swarup said NSG membership was a priority for India. “This can demonstrate to the whole world that India and China approach such issues with strategic maturity and are working together to narrow and resolve any difference of view.
