China: High-Tech Surveillance Leads To 13,000 'Terrorist' Arrests in Xinjiang


Despite the more recent focus on cybersecurity, the programs in Xinjiang were an early driver of U.S. prohibitions on Chinese surveillance technology manufacturers including Hikvision, Dahua and also Huawei.
