China’s Qinghai province is larger than Texas — that is to say, bigger than Kenya, Sweden, France, Morocco, Japan, Poland or the Philippines. One hundred percent renewable — no coal, oil or gas. In fact, progress is accelerating — some truly good news amid the ongoing trauma of climate change. China is serious about leading the world in renewable energy. The rest of the world can sign up for 100 percent renewable too, and much sooner than many people imagine.
