Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission CEO, Ezra Chiloba, has dismissed a statement from the Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohamed who claimed that the CEO was still calling shots despite being on leave. He is frantically calling ROs across the country especially western Kenya to do fake results,” Junet said. But in a quick rejoinder on social media, Chiloba accused Junet of making careless statements that could divide the country. “I wish I could see myself as powerful as Junet Mohamed does, misleading claims can only but polarize country further, ” Chiloba noted on Twitter. Chiloba stayed put until a few days to the repeat poll, when he took a three-week leave.
