–Ghani alleges federal minister for education unclear, ill-prepared to handle ongoing education crisisKARACHI: Sindh Minister for Education and Labour Saeed Ghani on Tuesday announced said that examinations for students of class one to 8 will not be held in Sindh province whereas the students would be promoted to the next class. Announcing the news in a press conference after the education department’s steering committee meeting here on Tuesday, Ghani added that only weak students might have to sit in exams. Secretary Education Sindh Syed Khalid Haider Shah, Secretary Colleges Sindh Baqir Naqvi and others were present on the occasion. The provincial minister alleged that Federal Minister of Finance Abdul Hafeez Sheikh was coming to visit Karachi for political gains. Last night, the federal minister himself has admitted that there would be difficulties in his decision and he would consult us again on this matter,” he added.
