Children can 'meet a pilot' in Edenderry Library next weekA 'meet a pilot' event for children under the age of 12 will take place in Edenderry Library next week. Pilot Lorna Bagnall will talk to the children about her chosen career when she visits the library on Thursday, August 15, at 11am. The library can be contacted at: (046) 9731028. The 'meet the pilot' event is part of a summer series which has been giving local children a chance to meet with people working in various occupations, including a Garda, a firefighter and a nurse. A 'meet the librarians' event is also being planned and will take place the following Thursday, August 22, at 11am.
