In the past month, there have been three reports of children in Scarborough being approached by strangers who tried to lure them into cars, Toronto Police say. A man in a vehicle reportedly approached the boys and asked them to get in his car. At about 3:25 p.m., Hopkinson said a man approached a 10-year-old girl who was walking home from Malvern Junior Public School. The man is described as being between five feet eight inches and six foot one inches tall having a medium build. "In both of these situations the man or men approached kids while they were in groups.
