YWCA Penang president Datuk Dr Marina David said they first organised the annual event by inviting only children. “Without much consideration, I agreed since senior citizens are basically big children. “It would be good for them to interact with the youngsters and children,” she shared after the Christmas tea party at the Penang YWCA hall. Chow’s wife Tan Lean Kee, who represented her husband at the event, said Christmas is a season to spread joy.
