Do men feel grief over being childless differently from women? And I can’t help but wonder what it would be like if that little girl were my little girl. How sweet it would be to hear that word from the mouth of my little girl or my small son. And just because theoretically I still could doesn’t mean I don’t feel the loss of all those could-have-beens. I don’t know what it’s like to be short of sleep for a decade.
