(Photo by Chalit Poomruang)NAKHON SAWAN — A six-year-old boy had a narrow escape from drowning after he released the handbrake of a pickup truck that nearly rolled into a lake in Muang district on Sunday. “We're lucky that the pickup stopped on the embankment or we may have lost both the child and the vehicle,” Mr Saranyu said. The child played for 30 minutes and then asked him to unlock his pickup so that he could sleep inside. He said he never thought that his nephew could have pulled the handbrake release out of curiosity.
