more-inThe CBI has written to 40 foreign jurisdictions seeking information on members of a WhatsApp group on child pornography. “There were 234 members in the group from various countries. While 66 were from India, 56 were from Pakistan and 29 from the United States. We have received queries from some countries in response to our communication,” said an official. According to the CBI, child pornographic material was being uploaded and shared through the group named ‘Kids-XXX’, involving people from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan, United States, Mexico, New Zealand, China, Nigeria, Brazil, Kenya and other countries.
