The deceased Jisan Sardar, 11, a third grader, died suffering from jaundice and seizures on Friday around 7am in the capital’s Shewrapara area. Zaman said: “My son has been suffering from jaundice and seizures for the last four years. I would occasionally go to a government hospital and seek medical help from a doctor for his ailment.”“Last week I went to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital with Jisan. They told me to do his EEG test from somewhere else as soon as possible, as they did not have the equipment there,” he continued.
