Child airlifted to hospital after ingesting tutu berriesSupplied Toxic tutu berries. A child was airlifted from Milford Sound on Christmas Day after being suspected of eating tutu berries. Southern Lakes Helicopter director Sir Richard Hayes said he picked the child up from the Milford Sound visitor centre helipad on Christmas evening. "There was a child that had supposedly eaten some tutu berries," he said. "The advice from the poisons centre was that they go in for monitoring."
