When he heard co-workers talking about the dog, Wheeler thought for sure it was dead. Well, after Monday, make that three dogs: two mutts and a Chihuahua who was saved from the perils of recycling. Mark Wheeler, an operations manager at the Montgomery County Recycling Center, decided to take the six-pound dog home after it tumbled out onto the recycling center’s floor in a load of mixed paper. As luck would have it, Johnna Wheeler is a veterinary nutrition consultant. “I believe that the right people and the right pets show up at the right time,” Johnna said.
