A year after watching the Rams play in the Super Bowl, receiver Sammy Watkins finally gets his chance to do the same. Watkins left the Rams after the 2017 season to sign a massive free-agent contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. On Sunday, Watkins will be on the field at Hard Rock Stadium as the Chiefs play the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV. Former Rams receiver Torry Holt tweeted about the situation and Watkins responded, leading to a sit-down with McVay. Sammy Watkins spent one season with the Rams, the year before L.A. reached the Super Bowl, before joining the Chiefs.
