With several impending free agent pass rushers expected to be franchise tagged, the Chiefs are looking to capitalize on the situation. The Chiefs, meanwhile, could franchise tag or extend his teammate, Dee Ford, another prominent pass rusher who is just 27 and is coming off a 13-sack season. Luckily for the Chiefs, they're not the only team that could stop a talented pass rusher from hitting the open market via the franchise tag. All are possible, if not likely, tag candidates, which means the market for pass rusher may not look as strong as it currently does when free agency begins in March.
