Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis took a detailed review of the impending drought situation in the state. He also further asked village sarpanch (heads) in Jalna and Aurangabad districts to take up water conservation related works. He has assured them that there would be no fund paucity for the drought related works. Chief Minister Fadnavis directed the officials to have a common number for complaints regarding drought related issues. Fadnavis told the tehsildars to take up repair works for the drinking water supply schemes so that such schemes could function effectively.
