Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha has written to President Abdul Hamid informing that he, along with his wife, wants to stay in Australia from October 13 to November 10. The chief justice, who is currently on vacation and residing at his official residence, sent the letter to the law ministry on Tuesday. He said: “The chief justice wrote a letter to the president informing that he would stay outside the country from October 13 to November 10. Meanwhile, Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha and his wife Sushoma Sinha have received Australian visas for three years. The chief justice, who got appointed to his current position on January 17, 2015, is supposed to go on retirement on January 31, 2018.
