Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus is meeting with a delegation from the Jamaat-e-Islami on the upcoming elections and current affairs. The meeting began at Yunus’s official residence, the State Guest House Jamuna, around 4:30pm on Sunday, the Chief Advisor’s Office said. The other members of the delegation are Secretary General and former MP Mia Golam Porwar, Assistant Secretary General Rafiqul Islam Khan and former MP Hamidur Rahman Azad. The chief advisor will also hold separate meetings with the BNP and National Citizen Party (NCP) today. The BNP meeting had originally been scheduled for 3pm.
