ULU KINTA: Lim Chi Wing defended the men's singles title in style at the National Championships. The 21-year-old Chi Wing crushed Misbun Ramdan Misbun of Selangor 21-19, 21-8 in a lopsided men's singles final at the Sri Perdana Hall in Ulu Kinta in just 31 minutes. Said the 21-year-old Chi Wing: "I'm happy to defend the title. M. Thinaah served a pleasant surprise to win the women's singles title for the first time. Mixed doubles pair Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai Jemie continued their fine run when they bagged their first national title in style.
