Rajib claimed Rishad Hasan, Suman Mia, Shohag Islam, supporters of Chhatra League Cultural Affairs Secretary Shakwat Hossain, and General Secretary Asif Hossain Rony attacked him with sharp weapons near a shop adjacent the main gate of SUST. When contacted, SUST Proctor Prof Zahir Uddin Ahmed said Rajib was attacked by some Chhatra League men over past enmity. "We will take steps after investigating the matter," he added.
