(CPI), which sells fuel products through the Caltex brand, has complied with the government’s fuel marking program, the Bureau of Customs (BOC) said. Customs Deputy Commissioner for Enforcement Teddy Raval disclosed this after Chevron undertook fuel marking activity at its import terminal in San Pascual, Batangas, on November 11. Chevron claimed it was the first among the country’s biggest oil firms or the so-called “Big 3” to comply with the government’s fuel marking program. “CPI supports the government’s initiative to curb fuel smuggling through this fuel marking program,” Chevron Country Chairman Louie Zhang said in a statement.
