The students have lost over 31 days of contact hours with their teachers due to bloody clashes between two ethnic groups over a piece of land. The two ethnic groups have attacked unsuspecting residents of the rival faction, maiming them and displacing hundreds of fleeing women and children. The mock exams started on Thursday, according to Joy News’ Gifty Andoh-Appiah at the Chereponi EP and DA Junior High Schools ahead of the main exams next month on June 10. Meanwhile, Vice Chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Defence and the Interior, Collins Owusu-Amankwah, has proposed the introduction of independent arbitrators in the conflict.
