The family of the late former Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut has thanked the public for their prayers during this period of mourning. In a statement posted on the late's Twitter handle, they asked for respect of privacy as they grieve. "The family thanks you for the love and prayers and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time," the statement reads. Family sources said he collapsed in his house and was rushed to Mediheal hospital Parklands where he was pronounced dead. Chepkut served as an MP from 2017 to 2022.
