Chepkorio capitalised on home advantage to beat Bugar 3-1 in the opening match of the Kagoech Football League in Elgeyo-Marakwet County. The league was launched over the weekend by Football Kenya Federation vice president Doris Petra and Kagoech Foundation Trust patron Micah Kigen at Chepkorio stadium. She lauded sponsor Micah Kigen for incorporating women in the Kagoech league. “We want to focus our attention on women football which had been forgotten. Petra lauded the move saying the federation will equally develop women football unlike in the past where they received little attention.
