The Blues ended their three-match winning streak after the restart with a humbling loss to the relegation candidates at the London Stadium. Frank Lampard’s defence struggled to handle man-of-the-match Michail Antonio, who scored the Hammers’ second goal and set up Andriy Yarmolenko’s last gasp winner. Both Christensen and Rudiger were culpable of errors in the lead up to the goals, with the Dane guilty of ball-watching for Antonio’s goal and and his centre-back partner backing off Yarmolenko for the third. ‘What you do against a guy like him, is you use your football brain, and we saw today that Rudiger and Christensen do not have a football brain.
