Chelsea appointed former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri as manager like summer after the Italian side came agonisingly close to beating Juventus to the Serie A title. The former Empoli coach wasted no time in bringing one player with him to Stamford Bridge, and picked Italy international Jorginho. Both Sarri and his playmaker have received criticism during their first season in west London, but ended the season on a high with a win over Arsenal in the Europa League final. Reports suggest that Sarri will not remain in his role next season, and has already received an offer from Juventus, but Jorginho has warned him that it the move isn’t without its risks.
